Description

Thursday, February 9th, 7-9pm

Community Clay Nights at Storyhouse Foundation are a gathering to bring together community and support mental wellness through hands-on creative expression.

This is a space for communities to connect and express themselves in a low stakes creative environment grounded in exploration and letting go of expectations. Participants will work with air-dry clay and are welcome to make anything they'd like such as sculptural, abstract and functional forms.

No experience is necessary, this evening will be suited to those who are curious in working with clay for the first time and those with various levels of experience who would like to create in a communal space. Participants can expect to leave the session with their pieces.

This workshop will take place at Storyhouse Foundation located near Rampart Village, address provided to participants prior to the event.

Sliding Scale Pricing

Sliding scale pricing is a tool for social equity. Sooki Studio use sliding scale pricing to make crafts education accessible and affordable to all.

There are three tiers for pricing, when signing up for a workshop, please pay on the scale what feels right to you and your current finances. This is a trust based system, only you will know what feels comfortable and possible.

The high end of the scale is the true cost. If you are someone who can afford to pay this, please do, as this offsets the price for others, allowing us to create more affordable offerings.

No one will be turned away due to lack of funds. If you are unable to afford a workshop at this time and feel you need craft in your life, please contact us and we will find an arrangement so that you can participate at a further reduced cost or at no cost.

Cancellation Policy
Workshops are non-refundable, if you do need to cancel we will try our best to fill the spot, in which case we can offer a refund, however this is not guaranteed. If you are unable to attend the workshop you may transfer your spot to another person.
