The treadle wheel is a manual pottery wheel operated by a pedal that turns a heavy weight disc which quickly builds momentum. Jotham had the wheel built for himself and it's extremely fun to throw on.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThis session is for \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cb\u003emembers who are experienced in wheel throwing\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cspan\u003e already and would like to work with this wheel in particular. Jotham will be going over safety and some techniques on how to control speed, etc. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003eIf you are new to the wheel and would like to learn how to throw, Jotham is available for private 1-1 lessons. These can take place at the studio, your home studio, or at Jotham's studio in Altadena. He's an incredible teacher and I highly recommend working with him to learn or improve your throwing skills.
