Family friendly ceramics workshop

Masks required | ADA accessible

All experience levels and ages welcome

Sooki Studio, 2971 Allesandro Street, Frogtown, LA 90039

This handbuilding ceramics workshop will be a playful low stakes learning environment grounded in exploration and letting go of expectations. Participants will work with terracotta clay and are welcome to make anything they'd like such as sculptural, abstract & functional forms.

No experience is necessary and all are ages welcome! This workshop will be suited to those who are curious in working with clay for the first time and those with various levels of experience who would like to create in a communal and welcoming space.

All materials are included and participants can build as many pieces as they'd like within the two hour period. We will be working with unglazed terracotta clay that, once fired, can be used for anything except holding liquids. All pieces will be fired and ready for pick up within 3-weeks of the workshop.
