To help keep our space safe and accessible, masks (N95 or KN95) are required for all workshops. Please bring your own; extras are available at the studio. Masks help protect against airborne illness as well as clay and glaze dust.
Our studio is fully ADA accessible. The supply store and restroom are accessed by three steps, with a portable accessibility ramp available upon request.
On-site parking and additional accommodations are available. Please reach out ahead of your visit with any accessibility questions or requests so we can best accommodate your needs.

Sliding scale pricing is a tool for social equity. We use it to make crafts education more accessible and affordable while ensuring our workshops remain sustainable.
We offer three pricing tiers:
Our sliding scale operates on a trust-based system. When registering, please choose the tier that feels right for you and your current financial circumstances. Only you know what feels comfortable and possible.
A limited number of spots are available at each tier to ensure workshop costs are covered while keeping lower-priced options available. If a tier is sold out, it means all spots at that rate have been filled.
Interest-free payment plans are available for all workshops, allowing you to spread the cost over smaller payments.

Workshops are non-refundable, but you may transfer your spot to someone else. Please let us know in advance so we can update the registration details.
If you are sick or experiencing an emergency that prevents you from attending, please contact us as soon as possible so we can discuss your situation.
Missed sessions cannot be made up, and additional studio time is not included.
Students receive a 10% discount at Sooki Supply from the start through the end date of the workshop.
Looking for a fun, creative way to spend time with friends, family, or colleagues? Our one-day workshops provide a playful, low-pressure environment where you can explore, experiment, and let go of expectations.
Participants can choose from pinch pots, coil building, slab building and glazing—versatile techniques that allow you to create just about anything. On request, workshops can also be tailored to other clay methods. After the workshop, groups will select their glaze colors, adding a personal touch to their creations.
No prior experience is required—these workshops are perfect for all ages, both for beginners curious about clay and for those with some experience who want to create in a communal setting.
During the session, you’ll have the chance to relax, express yourself, and connect with others. All pieces will be glazed, fired, and ready for pickup within three weeks.
All materials and firing are included, and participants are welcome to build as many pieces as time allows.
Once your session is booked, we’ll be in touch to schedule a date and time. Workshops can be held on weekdays or weekends, depending on availability—we’ll work with you to find a time that fits.
Instructor
This workshop is taught by Sooki Studio founder, Natalia Ira Sookias. Natalia has been teaching over the last decade from the kindergarten level ranging to university graduate students in the US and Europe. She studied at the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts), Central St. Martin's and the Prince's School for Traditional Arts in London. Dress in comfortable clothing you don't mind getting a little messy. Clay and other studio materials may stain clothing, so we recommend wearing something suitable for working with your hands.
We've got all the tools and materials covered! Just bring a notebook, a water bottle, and any favorite clay tools you'd like to use.
All clay, tools, and materials needed for the workshop are included. We'll also have water, tea, coffee, and light snacks available.

Yes. N95 or KN95 masks are required for all indoor workshops to help keep our space safer and more accessible. You're welcome to work outdoors without a mask, but please put one on when entering the studio.
We bisque fire to cone 06 and glaze fire to cone 5.

You're welcome to take your piece home to continue working. All pieces must be finished by the end of the final workshop date.
This workshop is designed for adult participants. Please contact us in advance if you have questions about participation by younger makers or need to bring a child with you.
